SQ(T) Industrial Cobalt-60 Irradiation Facility

This series of large-scale gamma irradiation facilities is specifically developed by our company for irradiating containerized palletized goods. It combines heavy-duty overhead conveying with hydraulically driven source-passing mechanisms to achieve dense arrangement of the source-passing mechanisms and automatic side-changing of the irradiation product carriers. It enables multi-path, multi-station irradiation, such as four-path or outer two-path fully automatic operation modes. Products unloaded from containers on pallets can be directly loaded into the hangers for irradiation, for example, irradiation of frozen seafood products.

  • Conveying System: Capable of dense, multi-path, multi-station operation. The irradiation facility can achieve automatic layer changing, side changing, or multi-loop operation.
  • Barcode System: Uses a barcode system to monitor and manage irradiated products, ensuring traceability.
  • Control System: Employs Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and WinCC data acquisition and management software.
  • Safety Interlock System: Designed with comprehensive multiple, multi-level safety interlock measures, fully complying with Chinese national standards and IAEA safety requirements.
