This type of irradiation facility primarily employs static irradiation, and the radiation source often utilizes a single-layer or double-layer cylindrical source. The designed source loading capacity typically ranges from 3.7×10^15 Bq (100,000 curies) to 1.11×10^16 Bq (300,000 curies).
These irradiation facilities are simple to operate and feature a relatively uniform dose field.
